"Dialogue with Nature" Shown at Regional Libraries in Singapore

From October 5-15, "Dialogue with Nature," an exhibition of SGI President Daisaku Ikeda's nature and scenic photographs taken by during his travels in Japan and abroad, opened at regional libraries in Singapore. The Jurong Regional Library opening on October 5 was graced by 160 members and guests, including Kwek Leng Joo, honorary chair of the Photographic Society of Singapore; Lee Koon Choy, former Ambassador to Japan; Dr N. Varaprasad, chief executive of the National Library Board; and Goh Kim Hui, vice president of the Photographic Society of Singapore. Following the exhibition, guests watched the Singapore premier screening of Another Way of Seeing Things, a short film challenging media stereotyping based on an essay of the same title from Daisaku Ikeda's book The World is Yours to Change. The photo exhibition also showed at the Woodlands Regional Library during the same period. Mr. Ikeda's children's animations were also part of the program.
