| Soka Gakkai Women's Peace Committee Sponsors Culture of Peace Forums |

On March 4, 2006, Soka Gakkai Women's Peace Committee's (WPC) "Culture of Peace" forums were held respectively in Nakano and Sumida Wards, Tokyo; Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture; Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture; and Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture. At each venue, women representatives shared how they overcame hardships through their practice of Nichiren Buddhism and created "cultures of peace" in their personal lives as well as their challenges to create peace in their communities through grassroots activities.
