| Soka Gakkai Donates Funds for Pakistan Earthquake Relief |

Soka Gakkai decided to donate 3.4 million yen (approx. US$ 30,000) to aid victims of the recent large-scale earthquake in Pakistan. On October 17, Soka Gakkai representatives, headed by Vice General Director Minoru Harada, called on Ambassador Kamran Niaz at the Pakistan Embassy in Minato Ward, Tokyo, to deliver the donation. Mr. Harada expressed condolences and hopes for a swift recovery of the quake-torn area. Mr. Niaz expressed appreciation for Soka Gakkai's support.
