| SGI-Europe Representatives Meet at Trets, France |
January 11-13, 2008, some 180 SGI representatives from 27 European countries attended an SGI-Europe Peace Summit at the SGI-European Center in Trets, southern France. Activities for 2008 were announced, including an SGI-Europe Youth General Meeting, annual summer sessions at Trets and a study program on Nichiren Buddhism. SGI-Europe Chair Hideaki Takahashi asked everyone to advance together to promote peace while encouraging and fostering youth.
