| SGI-Philippines Celebrates Young Men's Division Day |
During July, the SGI-Philippines Young Men's Division (YMD) held meetings throughout the country to commemorate the YMD's establishment on July 11, 1952. In a congratulatory message sent for the occasion, SGI President Daisaku Ikeda stressed how important it was to be courageous to lead a victorious life and contribute to the flourishing of peace and happiness in the Philippines.
At one of the meetings members watched a video and held a lively question and answer session with YMD Leader Jeremias Zhel Cruz. Mr. Cruz encouraged the participants to take the initiative to improve their local communities and society at large.
