Esperia, a Milan-based publisher, recently released Dizionario del Buddismo, an Italian translation of The Soka Gakkai Dictionary of Buddhism, an English dictionary of Buddhist terms, published in 2002. This new publication will serve as a useful guide for the study of the previously published Italian translation of the The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin. The Italian dictionary has about 1,000 pages with more than 2,700 entries, providing comprehensible explanations of Buddhist terms and the principles of Nichiren Buddhism as well as general Buddhist terms, sutras, persons and events. Each entry also contains the term in Japanese as reference.
